The Albany Art Group, (AAG) was established in 1962 and is a not-for-profit community association, run by a committee of volunteers and based at The Vancouver Art Centre.

Its members are an enthusiastic group of artists committed to ensuring opportunities for beginners and emerging artists in the community to develop their art practice.

Activities, which include en-plein-air painting with oils, life drawing, portraiture, pastels, printmaking and watercolours are held weekly and facilitated by members.

Events including artist workshops are held periodically throughout the year. Local and visiting artists are engaged to share their knowledge and expertise. These events are inspirational, great fun and provide something for everyone.
